About ADR Training Courses

An ADR Vocational Training Certificate is required by any driver carrying "In-Scope" packaged Dangerous Goods, for a tanker of >1m3 or tank container of >3m3 - regardless of the gross weight of the carrying vehicle, and is valid for five years. There is no required pre-qualification, anyone with a full UK driving licence may attend. In order to obtain your Vocational Training Certificate (VTC) you must attain the following minimum qualification:

CORE + PACKAGES or TANKS + at least ONE HAZARD CLASS

Once obtained, additional classes or modes of carriage can be added at a later date if required.

All ADR training must be conducted at an approved venue, either at our training centre in Southampton, or on-site, nationwide (subject to the facilities meeting the required minimum standards) - Call us for further details.
